Blood Giving sets double chamber

Blood Giving Sets (Double Chamber) are specialized IV tubing sets used for blood transfusions. They feature a large, double drip chamber with an integrated 200-micron filter. The filter removes clots and particulate debris from stored blood components before they reach the patient. The double chamber design allows for easy priming and visualization of the drip rate. These sets are non-vented (usually) and feature large-bore tubing to prevent hemolysis (damage to red blood cells) during infusion.

Our Double Chamber Blood Transfusion Set is engineered to ensure the safe and effective delivery of whole blood, packed red cells, plasma, and platelets.

Features:
– Filter: Integrated 200µm mesh filter basket prevents blood clots and cellular debris from entering the patient’s circulation.
– Double Chamber: The upper chamber holds the filter; the lower flexible chamber allows for drip counting and manual pumping if required to clear a blockage.
– Tubing: Kink-resistant, medical-grade PVC.
– Needle/Luer: Standard Luer lock connector to fit IV cannulas.
– Flow Controller: Smooth roller clamp for precise regulation of transfusion speed.

Usage:
Used exclusively for blood products. The set should be primed with saline before blood is spiked to prevent hemolysis. Do not use for standard clear fluids if a blood filter is not required, as it creates unnecessary resistance. Single-use, discard as biohazard.
