Vicryl Suture 2/0 RCN Dozen

Vicryl Suture 2/0 RCN is a medium-gauge absorbable suture with a Reverse Cutting Needle. Size 2/0 is the standard for skin closure or thick subcutaneous tissue. The Reverse Cutting needle is sharp and designed to cut through skin and tough tissue easily. While Vicryl is absorbable, it is sometimes used for skin closure (subcuticular) or in areas where suture removal is difficult. The braided material handles well and knots securely. Box of 12.

Vicryl 2/0 (USP) with Reverse Cutting Needle is a versatile suture for general surgery and trauma.

Features:

– Needle: RCN (Reverse Cutting). Ideally suited for skin suturing because the triangular cutting edge penetrates tough dermis easily without bending.
– Absorbable: Useful for patients who cannot return for suture removal (though for skin, non-absorbable is often preferred to reduce scarring, Vicryl is used for deep dermal stitches).

Applications:
– Deep subcutaneous closure to take tension off the skin edge.
