Suture polyglactin 910 no.1 RB 75 cm braided, 1/2 circle 40mm

Suture Polyglactin 910 No.1 RB is a sterile, absorbable, synthetic braided suture (equivalent to Vicryl). Size 1 is a thick, strong suture used for deep tissue approximation, such as closing the fascia (muscle sheath) in abdominal surgery. It comes with a Round Body (RB) needle, 40mm in size, which is a large needle designed for deep, soft tissue work where cutting edges are not needed. The suture absorbs naturally, so no removal is required.

Polyglactin 910 Size 1 with 40mm Round Body Needle is a robust absorbable suture for major surgery.

Specifications:
– Material: Polyglactin 910 (Synthetic, Braided, Coated).
– Size: Metric 4 (USP 1). High tensile strength.
– Needle: 40mm, 1/2 Circle, Round Body (Taper Point). The large curve and non-cutting tip make it safe and easy to pass through deep muscle layers and fascia without tearing.
– Length: 75cm thread.

Indications:
– Laparotomy closure (Linea alba).
– Hysterectomy (Vault closure).
– Orthopedic soft tissue repair.

The braided structure allows for excellent knot security, critical when closing layers under tension. Absorbs by hydrolysis in 56-70 days.
