AMOCLACID 228.5mg/5ml is a broad-spectrum antibiotic formulation designed primarily for pediatric use. It comes as a dry powder that acts as a suspension when reconstituted with water. Each 5ml of the prepared syrup contains 200 mg of Amoxicillin and 28.5 mg of Clavulanic Acid. This “Twice daily dosing” formula is highly effective against bacterial infections that may be resistant to amoxicillin alone. AMOCLACID is a combination antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. It combines the antibiotic properties of Amoxicillin with the protective properties of Potassium Clavulanate (Clavulanic Acid).

Indications:
It is commonly prescribed for middle ear infections (otitis media), tonsillitis, throat infections, pneumonia, bronchitis, and urinary tract infections. The 228.5mg strength allows for a convenient twice-daily dosage schedule, which helps improve adherence to the treatment plan.
Reconstitution and Storage:
The bottle contains powder that must be mixed with boiled and cooled water up to the ring mark on the bottle.

Before mixing: Store the powder in a dry, dark place below 30°C.

After mixing: The reconstituted suspension must be stored in a refrigerator (2-8°C) and is valid for use for 7 days only. Do not freeze.
